For a backyard bash, either pre-assemble bowls or set up a savoury yogurt “bar” where your guests can add the lentil mix and an array of vegetable toppings. The bowls can also be layered parfait style in tall clear glasses.

In a medium bowl, mix lemon juice, olive oil, herbs, turmeric, salt, and pepper.
Add cooked lentils and toss well.
To assemble the bowls, place 1/ 2 cup (125 mL) yogurt in each bowl. Top with 1/ 4 cup (60 mL) of lentil mixture. Add 2 Tbsp (30 mL) of each topping. Continue steps to prepare up to eight bowls.
